	a note on photography- i used to think that good photography involved a lot of luck, being in the right place at the right time, finding beauty and capturing it. at a point i realized that i no longer felt that way. it was like getting slapped with a cinderblock. i don't want to just make documents. but at what point does appropriation begin and end? what kind of art ISN'T a means of processing existing objects and images? i dunnoooooo~

	I have primer in my nose. (I wasn't huffing it! I don't think you can even huff latex paint! It was just on my arm, and then I sneezed and...well...mistakes were made.) On the one hand, I am perhaps the only person I know who can paint a chair and wind up priming their nostrils. On the other hand, if I ever get the urge to redecorate my mucus membranes, it's ready for a second coat.

	Mio my mio...
	Tuesday is a dancing night, but I stayed in for movies & sexy timez with Neil, then strawberry wine making. Also, strawberry syrah jam, two jars destined for birthday presents. Everyone I know is having birthdays. They come in waves. Lately a lot of Cancers & Aquarians are in my life. Leos are a constant. I rode my bike around the lake twice at dawn & made fish for dinner. I wish part of me could splinter off & dance, then rejoin my body later. My Cosmic Forces jar slipped & shattered on the hearth, which is difficult not to read as an omen.
